Greetings and salutations!

I am Nicholas (Nick), my journey toward Chinese medicine began 20 years ago when I wandered into a free Tai Chi class on my college campus. I recieved my BA in Anthropology from Metropolitain State University of Denver in 2013. I focused my education and reserach on bioarachaeology, human evolution, and biocultural interactions. Athropology, like Chinese Medicine, is a holistic and integrative discipline. Later I became fascinated with the poetic allegories for the human mind and body found in the Chinese classics. It revealed a profound connection to the natural world and an understanding of what it meant to be human and cultivate health and wellness in the broader context of culture and ecology. It became clear that the next step was to learn the medicine itself. I earned my Masters of Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine in 2025. And completed my NCBAHM board certification in 2026
Through a dedicated commitment to patient education and advocacy, I focus on treating the individual as well as the condition, what is known as "Root and Branch" treatment in Chinese mededicine. I am most interesed in how the mind an body influence one another especially regarding:

- Chronic diseasesÂ
    - Digestive (IBS, Chron's, Ulceratice Colitis, etc)
    - Nerological (Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, Scleroderma,           Neuropathy,Â
- Mental-Emotional Disregulation
    - Anxiety, Depression, Stress
    - PTSD, cPTSD
- Pain Management
    - Bursitis, Osteoarthritis, Plantar Faciitis, Frozen                Shoulder,Â
- Acute Illness
    - Colds & Flus

I aim to apply theory and philosophies that define Chinese medicine in the treatment of my patients. I value and integrated approach utilizing acupunture, herbs, qigong, an adjuctive modalities such as gua sha, cupping, plum blossom, tui na, among others.
Â
I highly value education and continue to mentor rising practitioners as a teaching assistant at CCMU in Surface Anantomy and Internship 1Â and as an herbal pharmacist at Yan Jing Supply located inside CCMU.Â
